Conventional fire detection often depends on smoke reaching a detector. Aspirating smoke detection takes a more proactive approach: air is continuously drawn from the protected area through a network of sampling pipes and analysed by highly sensitive smoke sensors. This enables increases in smoke concentration to be identified at a very early stage, creating more time to investigate and respond.
